Hello from a somewhat rainy Okanagan afternoon. While I wait for a batch of experimental use-up-the-self-raising-flour cookies to bake, I have news!

In my March postings I mentioned merpeople stories and I shared one poem with you – I had another one that I sent out to a few places.

That second poem has been purchased by Julia Rios – and if her kickstarter goes well, it will be making an appearance in a print anthology of uplifting speculative fiction – called Worlds of Possibility.

If you have the means to support the Kickstarter, it would be much appreciated!

And if you can’t, the poem should eventually appear online. I’ll let you know what happens with it next.

These cookies are turning out pretty well – one of those never-to-be-exactly-repeated batches where I’ve thrown in ingredients by eyeball and finger feel.
