Stray potato?

A couple of weeks ago, I set up a little bee bath in my garden. For the first couple of days, every insect ignored it. Now, I’ve seen a wasp using it – it appeared to be making trips carrying water back to it’s nest, as it would land, stick it’s head in the water, take off and wing away in exactly the same direction each time, then return a few minutes later. (Perhaps it was more than one wasp, but I think it was one wasp. It did not seem aggressive in any way, and as far as I’m aware its nest is not anywhere in my garden, so I left it alone.)
I have also rescued a few teeny tiny flying bugs from drowning in the bee bath – they may have been some kind of ant. After those rescues, and after the little guys used my fingers as a drying station, I added more pebbles and rocks to the bath so that hopefully the next accidental swimmers will have something to struggle over to when I’m not hovering and maybe they’ll be able to save themselves in the future. (Then I washed my hands.)
I have not yet seen a bee using the bee bath.
I bought the dish at a garage sale. “They” say a bee bath should be slightly elevated off the ground and the water should be kept clean, so I stuck it on top of an overturned saucer from some long ago broken flower pot, and while the water is not perfectly clean, I do refill it every other day.
Soon I hope to catch a bee (or butterfly) making use of it.
It is in my “flowers for bees” garden bed, and there generally are a lot of bees in the area, so they’ve got to notice it eventually.

I don’t know what this next plant is. I think it might be a potato growing from a stray potato tuber accidentally left in the ground over the winter, but it could also be a weed. Do you know what it is? I will eventually pull it up to see if it is a potato, but right now it’s not really in the way of anything else so I’m letting it be. Let me know if you have any ideas.

I have been granted this little picture from Duolingo, in case I want to go around claiming I’ve studied for 101 days in a row. However, this is a lie. They give you “streak freezes” so regularly through the app, that it is entirely possible, as you can see in this picture, to skip three days (the blue days) and still have your “streak” maintained.

I have definitely not studied 101 days in a row.

But this is a (somewhat compacted) screen shot of me doing a daily review through the Babbel app, at this funny stage I’m in with vocabulary where I am sometimes guessing maybe words are compounds of smaller words I can sometimes remember if I don’t remember the actual real word.

The actual German word for wine harvest is, apparently, Weinlese instead of my “Grapes Take,” but I think I should get some credit for this attempt!
